The Master of the House, Mohamed, welcomes you

This unique riad has been lovingly built by Mohamed, the Berber man, after his return to his hometown. After spending 20 years wandering through the desert and the African continent, learning to recognise the truth and follow the signs, he sensed his calling to return and create.

In collaboration with local artisans and craftsman, using traditional techniques and reclaimed materials, with years of work and effort, he built a true oasis on top of a hill, in the heart of the Berber village. This hidden, unexpectedly luxurious riad looks down to the groves of olives, almonds, walnuts, oranges and lemons and up to breathtaking views of the Atlas mountain peaks.

The women look after the children, make bread, prepare and cook the food, look after the cattle, fetch water, spin a weave. They are responsible for seasonal chores: the harvest, picking olives, almonds and walnuts, shucking corn, carrying water and gathering twigs.
