MOROCCO - a labyrinth of stories, dreams and contrasts. A place of secrets and myths. A country where the hot African night scented with Arabian jasmine has its powerful charm. The moment when we hear a voice that calls to prayer touches our heart with such force that a part of us will never want to leave.

MARRAKESH - The Red City, Ocher City, Daughter of the Desert, Gateway to the Mountains, Pearl of the South and Baghdad of the West. It's all Marrakech. A city that pulsates, where all our senses are enhanced thanks to colors, smells, tastes and experiences. The city of miracles.

SAHARA - a magnificent and majestic place, with a million stars in the sky. Love for life. If we allow ourselves to slow down, we hear a story. A story about women who were beautiful, strong and free and about men who knew the Truth, understood the language of the desert and followed its signs. A story about trade caravans that traveled through the endless desert.

Arrival to the wonderland

DEŇ 1 ~ Marhaba. Welcome!

Arrival in Marrakesh. We will meet after arrival at the airport, we will take a comfortable transfer to Riyadh (hotel), where a welcome ritual will await us - real Moroccan mint tea and typical Moroccan cookies. We start our stay by slowing down and relaxing in our beautiful Riad and enjoying a home cooked Moroccan dinner in the evening with a beautiful sunset.

Marrakesh - a city of miracles

Day 2 ~ Let's get to know the city in an ecological way - on foot and by bike. Medina, Berber markets, Koutoubia Mosque.

Breakfast and Marrakech awaits us. Red City, Daughter of the Desert, Gateway to the Mountains, Pearl of the South and Baghdad of the West. A vibrant city where colors, smells, tastes and experiences heighten the senses. The city of miracles.

We will start to discover the beauties of Marrakesh in an ecological way. He who does not try, will not believe. After 2 hours on a bicycle, you will be able to orientate yourself in the old city - the medina - and you will become a real local Marrakchi. Together with young, local guides, at a pleasant pace, we will discover the hidden gems and corners of Marrakech, known only to locals and which usually remain hidden from tourists.

In the afternoon, the markets in the old medina await us, for which we will allocate enough time. Because what we will see here together will far exceed our expectations. You can find here everything you can think of - beautiful Berber jewelry, fragrant spices, hand-decorated dresses like from 1000 and 1 Nights, typical Moroccan babouche shoes, leather handbags, hand-woven baskets, masterfully forged lamps, alabaster statues, precious stones and crystals, traditional Berber carpets. Early evening return to the hotel, dinner.

Marrakesh - enchanting beauty

Day 3 ~ Majorelle Gardens, YSL museum, hammam spa ritual

We wake up to the sound of the museon's voice calling the faithful to prayer. The iconic gardens of the Jardin Majorelle in the Gueliz district await us. After Jemaa El Fna Square, the second most visited place in Marrakech. Yves Saint Laurent's gift to a city that welcomed him with open arms after a very tumultuous period of life's ups and downs. 300 plant species from 5 continents.

In the afternoon, rejuvenation of the body and soul - HAMMAM - a traditional spa ritual, after which time and space take on a completely different dimension. A ritual that is above all beneficial for body and mind and soul. A procedure with the option of massage techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation. Return to the hotel in the evening, dinner.

The high Atlas

Day 4 ~ Ourika River Valley and Berber Village

Breakfast and we leave for Ourika. A valley that is about 50 minutes from Marrakesh, but suddenly a completely different world opens up to us. In the spring it is full of blossoming cherry and almond trees, in the autumn it offers unrepeatable views against the background of the snow-covered peaks of the High Atlas. Easy trekking to the waterfalls, lunch. On the way to sleep, a stop at the cooperative, where we can view and buy, in our opinion, the most beautiful and high-quality carpets in all of Morocco. Transfer to the Berber Museum, where they will show us with a not too lengthy, but at the same time really nice explanation, how our countries have a lot in common. Hotel, free program.

Love and happiness in the city of freedom

Day 5 ~ Essaouira. A city of beautiful sandy beaches, surfers and freedom

We wake up and get up to the singing of the muezzin's voice. Early breakfast and we leave for Essaouira. The memory of Jimmy Hendrix and the hippie movement, white houses, majestic palm trees, ocher city walls and golden beaches. This hidden city is made up of colors, sounds, rhythm, traditions and culture. It is a city of sandy beaches, surfers, freedom and independence. Welcome to paradise, surrender to the atmosphere and feel reborn. City tour, free program. Return to the hotel in the evening.

The adventure begins

Day 6 ~ Tizi n Tichka, Atlas Mountains, Kasbah Telouet, Aint Ben Haddou

Breakfast and the adventure begins. We move along winding roads through the Atlas, which according to legend supports the titan Atlas to Kasbah Telouet - also called the palace of the El Glaoui family for lunch at Kasbah Telouet - a jewel of Moroccan architecture. Once a major stop on the trans-Saharan salt and slave trade routes. 300 workers worked for three years on the decoration of ceilings and walls. In the afternoon - AIT BED HADDOU - the best preserved and most important example of Moroccan clay architecture. The ancient hilltop city has featured in films such as Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, Gladiator, Alexander the Great and the beautiful film Seherazade. The highlight is a visit to film studios. ATLAS, check-in at the hotel, dinner.

Valley of roses, nomadic crossroads and rocky gorges of the Todra

Day 8 - Ourzazate, Skoura, Kelaat Mgouna Valley, Dadés Valley, Todra

After breakfast, a day full of unrepeatable and unforgettable experiences is ready for us. Nomadic crossroads, valleys of roses, two-color KASBY. The Dadés Valley awakens our imagination to unknown dimensions. From the majestic Atlas Mountains to the SARHRO hills, the valleys are dotted with oases and kasbahs (castles) made of dried bricks, which gave the valley its fairy-tale name - Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. We pass through the town of SKOURA, where they brought up caravans fully loaded with gold, spices, incense and salt after a two-month journey through the SAHARA. We stop for tea with real nomads, who gladly welcome us and share with us a part of their culture, a part of themselves. In the early evening we pass through the Todra Gorges and 300 m high cliffs: one of the most impressive sights in southern Morocco. Accommodation, hotel, dinner.

A hidden diamond in the SAHARA with a million stars

Day 8 - Draa Valley, Agdz - Kasbah Tamnougalt, Zagora, M´Hamid, Sahara

After breakfast, direction M'Hamid. The last stop before entering the desert. We pass through the Draa Valley - have any of you seen more palm trees together? Kasbah tamnougalt, lunch and transfer to the city of M`Hamid, where we will leave our cars and each of us will saddle our own camel, with which we will move into the desert. To a place that only our guide knows and that he can confirm with certainty that we will be there alone. Accommodation in Berber tents right in the desert.

The nomads are moving south

Day 9 ~ Crossing the Sahara,  Marrakech

We wake up early in the morning with the sunrise over the desert dunes, an experience we will remember for the rest of our days. Only us and the sacred silence of the morning dawn. Breakfast and off we go. We have 4x4 cars so we will enjoy the experience. A 2.5-hour crossing of the SAHARA awaits us, where what we will see will far exceed our expectations. Oases, wild herds of camels and sheep, nomadic tribes and majestic desert. We have a giant privilege, because only the prepared are allowed to enter here. We are speechless for a while and then, after absorbing all those experiences, we become storytellers.
In the afternoon, we stop at a local cooperative, where local women still weave carpets in the original way, as my mother taught them. In the evening, return to the hotel near Marrakesh, well-deserved rest, dinner.

A day of regeneration and relaxation

Day 10-11 ~ Rest, rest and relaxation

Breakfast and it's time to rest. Relax and absorb energy from the Sun, relax by the pool and enjoy privacy, delicious home-cooked food prepared in the kitchen by local women from fresh ingredients.

Bislama. Goodbye until we meet again.

Day 12 ~ Breakfast and departure from Marrakech

After breakfast, transfer to the airport and flight from Marrakesh

Treat yourself to a last breakfast in a land of beauty and contrast before your private driver takes you to the airport. In fact, after 10 days, but based on our experiences, we spent almost a month here. Our wish is that you leave knowing that the journey itself is the destination.
