THE REAL MAROCO
By way of ancient caravans
To the heart of the Sahara in a Toyota Prado 4x4

 • Marrakech - Tales of the Berbers - Local Markets - High Atlas - Liquid Gold Argan Oil - Moroccan Tea Ritual - Aint BenHaddou - Ourazazate - Draa Valley - Devil's Gardens - Zagora - Sahara - Enchanting Oases - Dades Valley - Skoura - Valley of the Roses - Kelaat Mgouna - Hammam Ritual -

MAROKO - a land of colours, scents and ancient stories that has the power and strength to awaken the memory of the soul.  A place of secrets and myths.A land where the hot African night scented with Arabic jasmine has its powerful charm. That moment when we hear a voice calling us to prayer touches our hearts with such power that a part of us will never want to leave.

MARAKES - A magical crossroads where stories, caravans and memories of the soul meet. The heart of the city is like desert gold, still beating to the rhythm of the woodpeckers. A red city, bathed in the ochre light of the setting sun. Daughter of the desert and gateway to the mountains, eternally breathing on the border of two worlds. It is the Pearl of the South that never ceases to shine and the Baghdad of the West, where dream and reality intertwine. A city where everything pulses: the scents of saffron, frankincense and mint mingle in the warm wind, the colours are richer, deeper, almost otherworldly -indigo fabrics, red walls, golden ornaments, green palm trees. The sounds are vivid-the call of the muezzin, the singing of the merchants, the laughter of the children, the tinkling of the fountains. The flavors are hot and sweet like orange blossoms, honey, dates, and spicy tajine. Every corner is like a temple for the senses. Marrakech is not just a city - it is a state of being. The alleys of the old medina are like a labyrinth that leads not out, but deeper - to itself. And those who surrender to it will find that one does not leave Marrakech - only changes quietly.

HIGH ATLAS - a mighty mountain that rises to the heavens like the temple of the earth. Majestic peaks, eternally kissed by snow, guard the valleys where nature talks to the soul. In the mountains' bosom, ancient paths wind their way, connecting Berber villages woven from clay, stones and ancestral memory. The air smells of lavender, thyme and rosemary, which grow wild as if planted by the gods themselves. The indigenous Berber people live here in harmony with the rhythms of nature, their culture is like a woven carpet - each pattern carries a story, each colour an intention. The Atlas is not just a mountain range. It is a sacred space between the heart and the sky. A place where the mundane dissolves and only the pure experience of being remains. Exactly the kind of experience that is never forgotten - the kind that stays with us, long after we're gone.

SAHARA - not just a place. It is the ancient memory of the world. Endless, silent, breathtaking sand dunes, where every single one is like a thought that was formed in the wind and solidified in time. This isn't just a desert - it's a cathedral of silence, where even light prays. The Sahara welcomes not with noise, but with an emptiness in which one can finally hear oneself. Each step into the sand is like a step into oneself - slow, deliberate, sacred. Its dunes move, and yet they are eternal. The memory of caravans, the songs of nomads, and the whispers of stars float above them. If we allow ourselves, the desert begins to tell a story. Of women who were beautiful, wild and free. Of men who knew the language of the world, had the courage to be guided by silence, and read the signs from the stars as if they were sacred scripture. Of caravans - endless wanderings that carried salt, incense and wisdom with them. The Sahara in us opens the memories of the soul to the infinite.

| OUR PROGRAMME
Explore what we will experience TOGETHER on our miraculous journey through Morocco

FREEDOM ON FOUR WHEELS:
Journey to the heart of the Sahara in a Toyota Prado 4x4

This stay in Morocco is not just about the destinations, it's about the journey itself. And it's the rental of a 4x4 vehicle - specifically a reliable and comfortable Toyota Prado - that makes the journey an unforgettable experience where COMFORT, FREEDOM and FAVOUR go hand in hand.

The Toyota Prado serves as a gateway to remote beauty and a companion on unexplored roads during our expeditions. We can afford to stop where we feel like it, bypass the crowds and explore the landscape in its most authentic form - quiet Berber villages, rocky massifs, palm oases and endless sand dunes.

The journey to the Sahara isn't just a drive - it's a transformative passage through changing landscapes, the silence of the desert, breathtaking views from mountain saddles, and intimate encounters with locals that wouldn't be possible without the flexibility of your own vehicle. This type of mobility allows us to set our own pace, adapting the route to the conditions of the moment, but also to the mood and needs of the group. When we choose to stay longer in a place where it resonates - we can. When we want to escape into absolute silence - we know how to get there.

The Toyota Prado isn't just a practical solution - it's the key to the freedom we need in Morocco if we really want to experience the country. Interior comfort, air conditioning, ample space and safety on unpaved roads form the foundation on which we can build a unique well-being experience.

This is also why this trip is value-wise different from a normal stay. It is a curated experience where comfort, authenticity and freedom create space for real inner change.

Arrival in Wonderland

DAY 1 ~ Marhaba. Welcome.

Upon arrival in Marrakech, a comfortable transfer will take us from the airport bustle to the Atlas, where our riad is located - a tranquil retreat surrounded by nature. Upon arrival, we will be greeted with a traditional welcome ritual: Moroccan mint tea and local cakes. We start by slowing down. We relax in the embrace of the mountains and in the evening enjoy a home-cooked dinner prepared with fresh local ingredients as the sun sets. A place where our journey to each other begins.

After your late-night arrival in Agadir, a private transfer will be waiting to take you directly to your hotel, allowing you to gently step into a space of rest and calm after your journey. Upon arrival, check-in will be arranged, followed by time reserved just for you – to breathe out, relax, and softly attune to the rhythm of a country where time seems to flow a little more slowly.
This first evening does not belong to the programme or to obligations. It belongs to rest. It is a space to let the journey settle, release the body, and prepare for the days ahead.
Morocco will welcome you tomorrow. Today, you are welcomed by peace.

City of Wonders - Marrakech

Day 2 ~ Culture Day.
Old Medina, Berber markets, Jemaa Elfna Square and Koutoubia Mosque.

Breakfast and Marrakech awaits us. The Red City, Daughter of the Desert, Gateway to the Mountains, Pearl of the South and Baghdad of the West. A vibrant city in which the senses are heightened thanks to the colours, smells, tastes and experiences. A city of wonders.

We will begin to discover the beauty of Marrakech in an ecological way. If you don't try it, you won't believe it. After a few hours on the bike, we guarantee you will be able to navigate the old city - the medina - and you will be a true Marrakech native. Together with young, local guides, at a comfortable pace , we will discover the hidden gems and corners of Marrakech that only locals know and that usually remain hidden from tourists.

In the afternoon, we will visit the markets in the old medina, for which we will set aside plenty of time. Because what we will see here together will far exceed our expectations. We will find here really everything we can think of - beautiful Berber jewellery, fragrant spices, hand-decorated dresses like from 1000 and 1 night, typical Moroccan babouche shoes, leather handbags, hand-knitted baskets, masterfully woven lamps, alabaster statuettes, precious stones and crystals, traditional Berber carpets. In the evening return to the hotel, dinner.

Marrakesh – Enchanting Beauty All Around

Day 3 ~ Fashion, Food & Soul & Hammam Day

• Majorelle Garden  • Yves Saint Laurent Museum • Cafés, restaurants & boutiques • The new district of Gueliz  • luxury HAMMAM Expeience

We wake to the sound of the muezzin’s call, inviting the faithful to prayer. His voice moves through the morning air like the quiet prayer of the city itself – peaceful, rhythmic, sacred. Marrakech awakens, and with it, so do our senses.

Today we visit the iconic Jardin Majorelle in the Gueliz district – one of the most beautiful and renowned botanical gardens in the world. After Jemaa El Fna square, it is the second most visited attraction in Marrakech, yet a place where crowds dissolve into silence, colour, and fragrance.

This garden is not merely a botanical oasis – it is a ritual of returning to the senses and to beauty. The moment you cross its gates, you step into a world where every shape, every colour, and every fragrance becomes a gentle form of healing. The iconic cobalt blue extends far beyond visual perception; it touches the emotional body as well – calming the nervous system and opening space for deeper perception.

The whisper of bamboo leaves, the terracotta-red pathways beneath your feet, the fragrance of jasmine and citrus blossoms – all awaken those parts of ourselves that everyday life often silences. It is a walk through harmony, where nature and humanity are not in opposition but co-create a world that heals through simplicity and silence. Every detail becomes an invitation into presence.

Within the garden lies the Berber Museum, dedicated to the indigenous people of North Africa. Its collection includes traditional Berber clothing, jewellery, ceramics, musical instruments, and everyday tools, revealing the many layers of a fascinating culture and heritage that still lives within Moroccan daily life today.

YSL Museum – A Temple of Creativity and Courage

After this sanctuary of the senses, we enter a space that tells the story of a creator’s soul.

The Yves Saint Laurent Museum is not only about fashion – it is a story of the courage to be oneself, to follow one’s own vision, even when it is unconventional.

Colours, textiles, silhouettes – and above all, the energy of creative genius – become an inspiration for the soul that longs to create, express itself, or simply rediscover its own beauty and uniqueness.

The YSL Museum is among the most remarkable and refined spaces dedicated to fashion and art. Through the meeting of the fascinating world of haute couture and Morocco’s profound influence, a cultural space was born that truly breathes. Through its permanent exhibitions, we discover not only the life and work of the legendary designer, but also his deep relationship with Morocco, a country that inspired him for many years.

Gueliz District – Where Time Slows Down and the Soul Breathes

The combination of gardens, museums, charming cafés, and boutique stores creates the perfect setting to slow down, rest, and restore energy in the heart of vibrant Marrakech.

This corner of the city offers not only beauty for the eyes but also silence for the inner world.

Here we enjoy lunch in a restaurant offering a unique culinary experience, where modern approaches meet Morocco’s rich traditions. The result is cuisine that celebrates local flavours while surprising through creativity and presentation. Every bite becomes a meeting point between history and the present, between the Orient and innovation.

Today, Marrakech teaches us to slow down, to observe, and to truly feel.

Not as tourists, but as people who, for a moment, have found a temple of beauty, silence, and inspiration – in colour, fragrance, and in the courage to be ourselves.

After a day filled with colour, inspiration, and sensory awakening, we leave our accommodation in Marrakech and continue our journey towards our sanctuary.

Our Saharan adventure begins - In the footsteps of the caravans

Day 4 ~ Tizi n Tichka pass ( 2260m.n.m), Atlas mountains, Kasbah Telouet, Aint Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, Skoura

Early breakfast and departure. Today, a breathtaking journey awaits us through the heart of the Atlas Mountains – majestic and mythical, as if still carried on the shoulders of the Titan Atlas himself.

We wind our way through mountain roads and serpentine passes up to Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), where the sky seems to touch the mountains and the air carries the purity of the highlands.

Along the way, we reach Kasbah Telouet – once the residence of the powerful El Glaoui family and a hidden jewel of Berber architecture. Its walls still carry the echoes of history and the caravan routes that once passed through here carrying salt, spices, and stories.

We continue through the changing landscapes of southern Morocco until the legendary Aït Ben Haddou appears before us – the iconic earthen city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which for centuries stood along one of the great caravan routes connecting the Sahara with Marrakech.

Here we will make a short stop to admire the kasbah from a distance, capture its unique panoramas, and pause for a moment at this place once crossed by merchants, nomads, and the stories of cinema.

Afterwards, we continue towards Skoura, a palm oasis hidden between the mountains and the desert. The evening will be dedicated to rest, dinner, and our overnight stay in an environment where caravan history meets the peaceful spirit of southern Morocco.

A day that began in the Atlas Mountains will end among palm groves – one step closer to the Sahara.

Valley of the roses, nomadic crossroads and rocky ravines of Dadés

Day 5 ~ Skoura, Kelaat Mgouna Valley of Roses, Dadés Valley, Tea at the Nomads

We leave the hotel in the morning light and set off on a journey that will take us into the heart of a land of stories, scents and unexpected encounters.

We wander across a landscape where we encounter life in its purest form - from verdant Skoura, an ancient oasis where caravans once took rest and supplies for the next journey after a month-long pilgrimage. Today, the landscape breathes peace, but still bears the traces of traders who travelled with gold, spices, salt and secrets.

On the way we pass through Kelaat Mgouna - known as the Valley of Roses, where the air is filled with the sweet scent of thousands of rose flowers, picked at sunrise by the delicate hands of local women. In May, the Rose Festival is held here, but even out of season, this region has the gentle power to awaken our senses.

Time passes and the landscape changes - sandstone walls alternate with fertile oases, earthen kasbahs like fairy-tale fortresses loom out of the landscape like witnesses of ancient times. We enter the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs - a place where silence tells stories that no language can tell.

We stop for tea with true nomads. Under a humble shelter, they welcome us with open hearts, a hospitality as old as the desert itself. Their eyes carry wisdom, their presence peace. They share their time, their tea and a piece of themselves with us. They may not understand us through words, but they understand us through looks and touches.

In the early evening, the road turns into one of Morocco's most breathtaking natural wonders - the Dadés Gorge. Silent, majestic cliffs rise to the sky like stone prayers. Each bend in the road reveals a new perspective, a new wonder.

We check into our hotel, satiated by the experience and the beauty. The day ends in the embrace of mountains and silence.

Hidden diamond on SAHARA with a million stars

Day 6 ~ Draa Valley, Agdz, SAHRO, Zagora, M´Hamid, Sahara

Morning greets us with the light of a new day and we set out on a journey that will bring us closer to the very heart of the desert. We head towards M'Hamid, the last outpost of civilisation before the endless sands.

Our pilgrimage takes us through the Draa Valley, which stretches like a green ribbon across the landscape - an incredible oasis of life in the midst of aridity. The road winds past thousands of date palms, their crowns rippling in the wind like silken veils. At this time of ripening, the dates are sweet, soft and fresh - one of the purest flavours nature has to offer. The valley pulses with life, the gentle rustle of leaves and the scent of the earth giving birth in the heart of an arid world.

In the distance, the SAHRO Mountains begin to rise - raw, majestic and mystical. Its peaks are as sharp as blades and resemble silent sentinels between the Atlas and the Sahara. Sahro is a land of nomads, untouched by time in places, wild and sacred at the same time. Every stone here carries a story of wind and silence.

After lunch, we continue towards Zagora and then up to M'Hamid, where the asphalt ends and the sand begins.

And then - we enter the Sahara.

It is more than a country. It is a state of being. The desert greets us with its silence, its endless horizon and a gentleness that touches the soul. Just a moment and the rhythm of the desert engulfs us - slow, deep, ancient.

The evening comes like a miracle. Millions of stars shine overhead, one by one. Nowhere else in the world can you experience such a horizon - it is a cathedral of light that takes your breath away. If we listen, the desert speaks. Stories of strong and beautiful women, free souls who walked this earth knowing their worth. Stories of men who understood the language of the wind and read the signs in the sand. Tells of caravans that carried both cargo and wisdom.

The end of the day belongs to music, fire and deep silence under the stars. We stay in traditional Berber tents, where we fall asleep knowing that we have become part of something eternal.

The Threshold of the Desert: A Day of Silence and Clarity

Day 7 ~ The Magic of the Sahara

Morning arrives slowly, with the light gently touching the sand and gradually awakening the landscape. The desert has its own rhythm, and today we surrender to it completely.

There is nowhere to go. Nothing to catch up with. Nothing to fulfil. Only to be.

The day begins in silence: in a space where the mind is not yet trying to grasp the day, and the body begins to remember its natural state.

Movement comes gently. Through the breath. Through a mindful step across the sand. Through the simple awakening of the body.

Here, three women guide us through the day—as a divine presence holding space for the process. Their guidance is not about words. It is about attunement.

Through mindful movement, silence, sound, vibration and gentle work with the body, a space begins to open where things do not need to be solved—they simply begin to reveal themselves.

The desert does not support this process. The desert creates it. Its simplicity strips away everything that is not essential. And what remains is clear. Uninterrupted. Free from noise.

Throughout the day, silence alternates with movement. Solitude with sharing. Inner awareness with simple moments of being together. Time does not move in a straight line here. It dissolves. And in this very space, something unfolds that cannot be planned.

Something is released. Something comes to an end. Something becomes clear. Not because we went looking for it, but because the conditions have finally emerged for us to see it.

The afternoon belongs to the light as it begins to change once more. The desert softens. The shadows grow longer. And we begin to feel that something within us has shifted into place.

Evening comes naturally, without the need for a programme. Fire. Silence. Presence. Perhaps a few words. Perhaps only a gaze into the flames. And the feeling that the answers we have been searching for so long no longer need to be sought.

They are here.

The Nomads Head South

Day 8 ~ Arrival at the Atlantic Ocean

We rise with the first light of the new day. Sunrise over the Sahara dunes is a quiet mystery: just us, the sand and golden rays spreading across the landscape like a blessing. In this moment, nothing else exists. Only presence. A sacred silence that speaks louder than words.

Being here is a privilege. Not everyone is allowed to enter. The Sahara chooses those who are ready. And so we fall silent—not out of fear, but out of respect. Later, when the experience has had time to settle within us, we become its storytellers. Not because we need to speak, but because we will have something to pass on.

In the afternoon, we stop at a women’s cooperative, where women weave carpets just as their mothers—and their mothers before them—taught them. Here, time does not slow down. It comes to a complete stop. Thread by thread, stories take shape—not in the language of words, but in symbols and energy.

Do you think a carpet is just a decoration? Not here. Not in this land. A carpet is a portal.

Choosing a carpet is not a purchase. It is an encounter. You sit beside it, feel it beneath your feet and touch it with your hands. You lie down. You drink tea. Perhaps two glasses. And then, suddenly, it happens: you do not choose the carpet; the carpet chooses you.

Like love arriving—quietly, unexpectedly and irrevocably. Not between two people, but between you and the message of your ancestors. Between you and a symbol that, at this very moment, has illuminated another diamond within your soul.

Only when we are ready can we receive its power.

We continue towards the ocean, with several stops along the way as we cross this powerful and magical land. By evening, we arrive at our hotel.

Here, the pace changes. Our hotel is a place where everything begins to unwind naturally. Open to the ocean, the space, the light, the wind and the sound of the waves create an atmosphere that shifts both body and mind into a different rhythm. Waves, sand, movement and a sense of boundless space.

The energy of the ocean is playful and alive, and it draws everyone in. The beach offers endless room to explore: running, games, camel rides along the shore, and moments that stay in the memory as some of the most vivid of all.

Carefree Day at Our Resort

Day 9 – A Piece of Paradise by the Atlantic Ocean

The day that follow no longer unfold according to a schedule, but according to feeling.

What felt new at the beginning gradually becomes natural. The body finds its own rhythm. The mind stops pushing. And little by little, we begin to notice the things we once overlooked.

Time here has no fixed boundaries.

The momets  flow gently into one another, without the need to separate them. Each moment carries its own quality, even the simplest ones. Something slowly begins to settle. Without effort. Without expectation.

And it is within this quiet flow that the most important thing begins to emerge – a return to oneself that cannot be rushed, only experienced.

Bslama. Goodbye, until we meet again.

Day 10 ~ Breakfast and Departure from Morocco

Final breakfast together in a country that, over these past days, revealed its colours, stories, and contrasts to us. A quiet moment to look at one another one last time, to smile, and to realise how much we have experienced together. Not only places, but moments – laughter, discovery, new situations that connected us in a way different from everyday life. Afterwards, your driver will comfortably transfer you to the airport.

Although we spent 10 days in Morocco, experiences carry a different weight. These were days of discovery – new worlds, new rhythms, and experiences that we will carry with us for a very long time. We found a space where we could slow down, breathe deeply, and step away from everyday life, even if only for a while. And somewhere along the way, something shared was created. Memories that are not only about what we saw, but about what we lived together.

Perhaps you will not remember every detail of this journey. But you will carry the moments. The feeling. The shared experiences you will return to again and again. Our wish is that this journey does not remain only a memory, but becomes part of your own story.

Because the most important part of this expedition was not only Morocco. It was that you lived it together. And that story can continue – wherever life takes you next.
